Highly acclaimed master photographer Peter Lik is supporting Concern Worldwide’s ongoing Haiti relief efforts. All Peter Lik galleries globally will donate a portion of February sales from Lik’s first 2010 major release, “Tree of Life” (above) to Concern, a humanitarian aid organization dedicated to eliminating extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.

I am in love with this picture and it makes me love it even more to know that some of Peter Lik’s proceeds will go to help those in desperate need in Haiti! Check out Peter’s blog to keep up with his work: http://blog.peterlik.com/

This new release “Tree of Life”, is one of the most photographed little maple trees at the Portland Japanese Gardens in Oregon. don’t believe it? google it and see the other hundreds of images for yourself.

So this whole “he doesn’t want anyone to know where it is because everyone copies him” is a joke.

Each one of Peter Lik’s photos is not a picture. It is more like a painting or a poem to me.Full of passion.Full of life.It is extremely meaningful, beautiful ,and powerful.I enjoy very much to write “it” down to be my poem when I “feel” it.Thank you for your work and thank you for your generous help to Haiti .
