A Healthy Addiction? We’ll Drink to That

The English swear by it and the Japanese cherish it, yet in the United States tea is one of the least favored drinks, despite its documented health benefits.
In a nation that is literally fueled by soft drinks laced with chemically produced sweeteners (including the mass-produced bottled drinks that are disguised as “healthy” teas), it’s time to speak up on behalf of an ancient beverage that comes in many varieties, yet is derived from just one powerhouse plant: the Camellia Sinensis.
